1. Apologies for absence 

 

2. Election of Chair and Vice Chair for the forthcoming year.

 

3. Co-option of new member 

 

4. Approve minutes of meeting held on 28th March 2026 

 

5. Matters arising – telephone solar power, concrete apron village hall, number of poppies, Gainsborough half marathon, fence on path to playing field.

 

6. Financial Report

 

7. AGAR (Annual Governance and Accountability Report) to be approved and signed off

 

8. Insurance renewal 

 

9. Correspondence

a) Street lighting – 12 High Street complaining that it is dark, they have approached Highways but been told process must come through Parish Council. Have asked Cllr. Wimhurst to investigate what process is.

b) High Street sign – outside 7 High Street posts have rotted off. If I report it on Fix My Street it will be replaced with a modern metal one but residents would prefer wooden posts in keeping with the one other side of Westgate corner.

c) Dog fouling – complaint from Glentworth Road, passed on to WLDC enforcement officer who is following it up with complainant.

d) Communities Facilities grant 

e) Post Office – Michael Lyons has found something which suggests that the post office has returned to the village hall 

f) Grant request from village hall
