May 2020 Annual Parish Meeting (Cancelled)
KEXBY PARISH COUNCIL
ANNUAL PARISH MEETING
Due to the Corvid 19 restrictions the Annual Parish Meeting, which is normally held in May, has been cancelled this year. It is the meeting at which the Parish Council reports on progress through the year and presents their accounts. If parishioners wish to have a meeting once the restrictions are lifted they should contact the clerk who will organise one.
The accounts for the Parish Council have been approved by the internal auditor, once they have been approved by the Parish Council a copy of the balance sheet (which is normally presented at the Parish Meeting) will be posted on the village notice board and on the village website.
Exercise of public rights
Any parishioner who is registered to vote has a right to inspect the full accounts for the Parish Council during a 30 working day period each year. This period will run from 20th July until 30th August this year. Anyone wishing to exercise this right should contact the clerk during that period who will make the necessary arrangements.
